HollywoodCinderella.com is not your typical fan site. What I aim to do is share my Marilyn Media – I collect her books/vintage magazines and adore her style and films. What I do is post pictures, flashbacks and information.

There are other great sites and news blogs where you can read the latest news – but HollywoodCinderella.com is my place on the web to share my collection and media.

Hollywood Cinderella? The domain hollywoodcinderella.com was originally used for my own personal blog – it really wasn’t that interesting so I decided to make my own little Marilyn site. I chose the name Hollywood Cinderella because it reminds me so much of how Marilyn was at the bottom of the Hollywood food chain and with a little help and a lot of her determination and talent she rose to be the Queen of Hollywood.

My site wouldn’t be what it was without the help (information and photos) of Everlasting-Star.net boards (you can find me under ‘hollywoodcinderella’) and the inspiration of MarilynMonroe.ca – 2 of my favorite Marilyn resources. Please check them out – but like you haven’t seen them already!

Share! If you would like to share my scans please feel free too – all I ask is that you leave the credit/tag on the photo so people can visit this site. I do work hard at scanning my pieces and I don’t put a big ugly tag over the picture, so please share and credit as I always try to do the same.

Me? I’m April, I’m 28 and live in Australia. I adore Marilyn Monroe (I’ve been collecting for about 8 years now) and enjoy collecting her photo books and other bits and pieces. Some day I would love to own something she once did – a piece of clothing would be amazing to display!
