today i am quarter of a century! 25. going back 18 days, I had a good new years, I meet a guy - pretty hot, but lives in Melbourne so I didn’t ask for a number (yes I did get a first name! ;-)), had a FABULOUS time — bringing back now to my birthday…. the other day I got a card in the mail….. didnt say who it was from posted from pretty much the half way point between here and Melbourne (i dont know anyone from there!). It was sent me to with no last name, said “make sure you go out this weekend” and “i wanted to be more thoughtful this year, arnt you lucky” - maybe a reference to a new years resolution? anyways my friends and I have figured out it must be him (it cant be anyone else!). the theory is he was home last weekend, drove past my place grabbed my address, on his way home posted the card, he wants to see me again and this was a cute way of going about it! well here is to the theory playing out right! i would like to see him again if it wasnt him, well then i have a secret admirer and ill never know who it was! THIS IS WHY YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SIGN A CARD WITH YOUR NAME!!!!

again back on turning 25. im going out to dinner with my family tonight (friday for those playing on the other side of the world) and then tomorrow night im going out to my favorite mexican bar for dinner with my girls (toni, megs, emma, brylee, lisa and kari) and a few frozen drinks! and then Im going out to the same pub (there ant many here anyways!!!!) that I met this guy at to see if he’s out and if he sent the card! If its not him, then ah well - what can I do *shrugs*

i wanted to have my make up for saturday night ala kerry washington’s loreal ads but we dont have Loreal HiP eyeliner cream here in Australia (I was gonna grab it from ebay but i wanted it for this weekend!) I dont think — well not in horsham anyways! so i went and board some colors which were similar (and cheaper incase it it didnt work out and I didnt waste money!) so these are my test goes (i dont have any other make up except the eyes so it may look a little silly!) (now updated with today’s shots, face looking a bit better!) - what do you all think???

my green is more aqua than teal tho, very hard to find in a small country town!!!!

bitch and moan! it’s going to be 43 degrees on monday (new years eve) (110 f) and its going to be around 36 for the rest of the week (about 97 f). i hate global warming. i DO NOT DO WELL in hot weather! im heading to murtoa for new years. looking forward to it, [i'll post about it after it happens] - not the ]weather! im gonna change this layout since xmas has now passed and my christmas tree is now packed away!

its christmas eve here in australia, i can’t wait til curty is asleep so i can start wrapping his presents!!!! (my fav part!) every year this time i listen to john lennons merry xmas (war is over) - BEST song written (i saw the film clip of it for the first time today which was GREAT!). it brings a tea to my eye everytime. if you have never heard it please take the time to download it and listen to it and be thankful this christmas. enjoy time with friends and family as i am going to

I got my new camera! v. happy about it! we had an AMAZING red sunset today, so i drove home to get my camera and when I got back to the place I wanted to take photos it was gone! I took a photo of the rest of it anyways - and im showing you a pic of my friend’s cat millie!

I also made a ‘tag’ for my photos with miss monroe on them do you like?!

im trying to get into the christmas mood - hence the christmas theme! thinking about christmas hasent been a good thing the last few weeks, ive been thinking of LAST christmas - i was happy and had peter and the kids. it all started actually when i realised that i had no more christmas decorations - id left them all at peters house. but im trying to get myself in a better frame set. ive figured out everyone’s christmas presents - most of them are on layby. im getting a new camera (much better one) - “santa” is buying it for me. when i get it i hope to update my marilyn book page - taking photos will be a LOT easier than scanning! next week we will be getting the tree up and buying some new decorations which i think will get me in the mood. im gonna get some lights for the tree for the first time which will be good - curtis will love it! speaking of curtis — he’s 7 on thursday! fuck me, 7!!! time flys! he’s a great 7 year old tho i hope to blog a bit more this month, but we’ll see how we go! *wink wink*

i just thought i’d chuck on a quick note/type-byte. things are well. had a fabulous time at the races (photos soon) last week. i had a morning chat with brylee today about future things and where we want to be which has had me thinking today. i still - still dont know. i know some people are 40 and still dont know but i thought that i would know by 25. i had a really good chat with peter yesterday, i think it was one of the first we’ve had since i left bendigo that it felt like “old times” — bar the romance/relationship. it was nice to truly feel as “just friends”. i miss my favorite second book shop in bendigo (always was getting new marilyn books in!). my friend’s twin girls are one tomorrow so when curty gets home from school we’re going to buy them presents for there birthday - im stuck on what to get them! i’ll venture back onto hc.com soon and fill you all in on more x

I did a good thing yesterday. Toni and I went for a big big walk. We did 5.1 kms which is about 3.2 miles. Took us an hour and 45 - but i did feel better after doing it, i took some photos on my mobile since it was such a nice clear day, you all can see where I live anyway!

Not a cloud in sight! The crops look green, but they are dying because there isnt enough rain here!

We thought that house was nice. The kids were playing on a trampoline, we thought about asking if we could come and jump on! The second was hanging on someone’s fence - thought it was clever!
So that was my day yesterday. a 5 km walk is a top effort for two girls who dont walk much! On the topic of Lola — she went to car heaven. I bought a new one - Peppa is her name. She’s a white ‘92 Nissan Pulsar Gli Hatch. The bank was kind enough to give me some money and so far she’s been driving really well *touch wood* I’ll take some pics soon to share. I re opened Maggie-Gyllenhaal.net yesterday and it looks fabulous! I have big updates to do at Mena next then a re vamp of Rebecca. eBay is going well, Ive bought a few new Marilyn things and my clippings have been going good, but I’ll share all that next time!
